The contract for your holiday rental cottage will be between the owner of Saunton Sands Farm Holiday Cottages (referred to as us or we) and the person making the booking and all members of the holiday party(referred to as you or your).
We guarantee that all the fees quoted are the only fees charged for booking at Saunton Sands Farm Holiday Cottages and include all linen and towels, heating, electricity and there are no additional charges for items such as high chairs and baby cots.
We cater primarily for family and couple holidays and single sex groups and younger parties are not generally permitted.
Once we have received your booking request we will forward you an invoice for the required deposit (20% of the holiday price) and once we have received cleared funds and after us sending confirmation a booking is made. The balance payment will be due 56 days before the holiday is due to commence.
The property is available from 3:30 pm on the start date of the booking and must be vacated by no later than 9:30am on the last day to allow us to carry out cleaning and essential maintenace works. Please let us know if you have specific requirements that are different and we will try and do what we can to accommodate these.
We only accept ONE small to medium size dog during school holidays. A charge of £30 will be made per dog and the cottages are non smoking
Only the number of persons stated on the booking form can occupy a cottage and the maxium number of guests is stated on our website if you wish to exceed this number please contact us prior to arrival to discuss.
The use of the facilities here is only for the guests listed on the booking form unless agreed otherwise with us, visitors are not to use our facilities.
You are responsible for the rental property during your occupation and you are expected to take reasonable care of its fixtures, fittings and furnishings. If you find anything damaged upon arrival please inform us. We will not charge for any minor damage such as a plate or glass and only charge for significant damage and you will be expected to reimburse us for replacement or extra cleaning costs on demand. Judgement on what is significant is at our discretion.
In the unlikely event that the property is not available through events arising out of our control (for example fire,flood,explosion,storm or other damage, theft,breakin criminal damage,interruption of utility supply) then the owners may be forced to cancel the booking. We will advise you as early as possible and will refund all monies paid but you will have no further claim against us.
We will make every effort to ensure that you have a great stay however if you have any problem or cause for concern or complaint please contact us immediately on 07977905621 or in person.
The use of the cottages, grounds and facilities is entirely at the users risk at all times and no responsibility can be accepted for injury loss or damage.
We would recommend that you make arrangements for cancellation insurance. Once you have a confirmed booking you are responsible for the agreed holiday cost in full even if you subsequently cancel.
If you would like day guests to visit you can you please advise us of their identity and you will be fully responsible for them. We do not allow day guests visitors to use our facilities.
The heated indoor pool will be available from 19th July 2024 to 19th September 2024.
Log burners please ensure you follow the rules for the fires in the cottage – log loads will cost £8
Charges for fishing are £30 and £20 for a short break except during the school holidays when there is no charge.
We love dogs and have a Yorkshire terrier by the name of Teddy. We therefore appreciate that a dog is a member of the family however not all guests have or like dogs.
For the benefit of all our guests please follow the Dog rules.
There is a charge of £30 per dog.
These dog rules are incorporated in the terms and conditions.
We are happy to have dogs that are clean, gentle and obedient. Please do not bring a dog that is not all of those.
Worm and flea treatments are up to date and your dog is microchipped and registered.
They poop please ensure you scoop.
You agree to accept full responsibility for any and all damage and/or soiling caused by your dog during its stay.
If you have a group booking please ensure your dog does not enter any cottage other than the one you are staying in.
Not all dogs are suitable for Saunton sands farm and so we do not always take them.
We do not take big dogs or dogs which are or an unsuitable breed. We consider Labradors to be as large as we are prepared to take.
We will take one dog per property.
Dogs must not be left unattended with the free run of the cottage.
Please do not allow your dog in the bedrooms.
They must never go in the pool, play rooms, play areas and animal enclosures.
They are allowed on the sofas as long as you use the throws provided.
They must be clean inside the cottages please clean them off using an outside hose and towel.
We do not accept female dogs in season.
Dogs that continuously bark are not allowed at Saunton sands farm they will disturb other guests. If any dogs persistently causes a nuisance we reserve the right to ask the owner to leave.
Outside of the cottages and the garden please keep your dog on a lead outside at all times.
